Welcome on the ressemblence page.

Not me, no .. no way .. I didn't know him, but a collegue said that I am exactly like Larry David, so I admire him since that moment.
Meeting him on his website was a shock of love, I recognized him from my mirror.
My dear wife made a picture which I pasted in the borrowed Larry-site-photo.
Excuse me Larry.

HERE  WE  ARE .... find the seven differences

I used Larry's shirt and glass
(not glasses, they are mine to see what's in the glass)
.. but hand and head are mine .. :)

October 14th 2003...

A remarkable day. I was dressed to go out to a hearing of the Social Department Court in Groningen.
Used nice clothes that I normally don't wear, even not know where to find them without the help of my dearest wife.
Looking neat was remarkable point 1
Remarkable 2 was the delivery of a purchased set of Curb Your Enthousiasm DVD's ( they found their way from New York to the Netherlands in only a few days which is remarkable too). I told the copier of the HBO series to send them without their cases and ship them in a normal envelope. (saves postage due to weight and apprantly envelopes are easier to handle) But I asked to pack the covers with them to reuse later in my own boxes.
How surprised I ws to find out that the first cover picture showed a Larry david exactly dressed like I was at that very moment. WHAT's going on ????
Here a picture of me holding the fresh received covers and an enlarged picture of the cover further down. Of course I tried to pose similar to Larry on the picture.

This (below) is the first cover of one of the 8 cd's I'm holding in my hand.

And below is me posing for the photo, like Larry is on the photo
Not easy to get matching colors ...
On special request of Tiffany I combined the pictures ..

No, didn;t borrow clothes or glasses or background. Still sharpness of the two pics is something that might be adjusted, but with only 24 hours in a day ...

I always thought Larry to be much older than me .. but also to my surprice I discovered today the third remarkable thing: we both are Cancer and he is indeed older; exactly one year  ...  born  July. 2 1947  and I July. 8 1948 ... :)
I think that I'll be the look alike in 15 years from now ... :)
sorry Larry and Laurie.

Internet does give a lot of fun.  (Does fun have the same meaning as wasting time on internet ?? )
But to get an envelope opening it and seeing someone using the same color and clothes combination ...
I'll never be able to comprehend this happening.

Below .. what I copied from Amazon.com and here a link to buy the first and new official Larry David  for public DVD at amazon .......

Editorial Reviews
Amazon.com
Like its fellow HBO series Sex and the City, this half-hour comedy broke some TV rules and went from critics' darling to an award-winning series in three years. Curb is the brainchild of star-creator Larry David who co-created Seinfeld and was the basis for the easily rattled George Costanza (who was played by Jason Alexander). Like George, David has a tendency to speak too much, blow things out of proportion, and, most often, fail in the end (and often liking it that way). David's new show is also like his predecessor: it's about "nothing" except following the day-to-day ramblings of a sometime writer and comic (this time in L.A.). Eternal questions stemming from universal daily dilemmas are honed to perfect comedic absurdity. A notable exception is the show is only scripted by plot; much of the action is improvised. The first season starts with a one-hour mockumentary following David's return to stand-up for the first time in years; the other 10 episodes follow a more traditional sit-com setup.

David plays "himself" (as does his friend, Richard Lewis) although his manager and wife are played by comedians Jeff Garlin and Cheryl Hines. Although this first season is a comedic gem, one can't take more than an episode or two at a time--it's acidic, biting comedy. The episodes are often built like a house of cards, which the irritable David will surely collapse by the end. Like another caustic TV character, Dabney Colman's Buffalo Bill (1983-84), Larry David is not for everybody. --Doug Thomas
