The
exhibition Choices consists of 21 panels that are
mounted in self-supporting structures. The structures
can be set-up in a variety of ways to accomodate almost
any space. Regarding physical space, the exhibition
takes up the space of one classroom, or approximately
120 square feet. The exhibition comes with a teacher
manual that helps teachers develop activities around
the exhibition.
Though
Choices has been especially designed for schools,
it can also be shown in museums, cultural centers,
etc. It can be rented for periods of one week or more
and is ideally suited for museums, school libraries,
auditoriums, large hallways or classrooms.
CHEF
provides docent training and teacher training to support
the exhibition if desired. These will help teachers
and students use the exhibition in a more effective
manner. The exhibition is transported in protective
crates and takes up about 90 cubic feet when being
transported. Approximately 4 volunteers are needed
for set-up and take-down.
A
shorter version of the exhibition is provided on this
website. See exhibition
online.
